The United Gunworks Phantom is engineered for shooters who demand the concealability of a compact handgun without sacrificing the shootability, durability or precision of a full-size pistol. Every Phantom begins as American steel and is transformed inside our 60,000 sq ft manufacturing facility through advanced CNC machining, precision inspection, premium coatings and final assembly — all under one roof in Peoria, Arizona.
By controlling nearly every stage of the manufacturing process, we are able to produce a pistol with tighter tolerances, exceptional consistency and unwavering reliability. The result is a firearm built to perform when it matters most.
Why we built it
The Phantom exists because carrying a smaller pistol should not mean giving up confidence.
Built around a 3.8″ match-grade bull barrel — your choice of ported or non-ported — and a proprietary United Gunworks dual recoil spring system, the Phantom delivers exceptional recoil control, smooth cycling and impressive durability in an incredibly compact package. The recoil system was engineered, manufactured and tuned entirely in house to maximize reliability while reducing felt recoil and improving follow-up shot speed. Porting takes that one step further, venting gas upward to hold the muzzle flat; the non-ported barrel keeps the classic carry profile. Pick the one that suits how you shoot.
Every detail was intentionally designed. The aggressively machined slide features deep front and rear serrations for positive manipulation under any condition. Our billet aluminum grip provides outstanding control without unnecessary bulk, while the fully blended grip safety and ambidextrous thumb safeties create an intuitive shooting experience for right- and left-handed shooters alike.
The modular optic plate system lets the Phantom adapt to today’s most popular optics without giving up iron sight capability. The optic plate of your choice — each with an integrated co-witness rear sight — ships with the pistol at no additional charge. Prefer to run irons? Add the UGW Iron Sight Plate Kit from the Choose Optic menu above. Combined with the premium PVD finish on the frame, slide and operational components, the result is a pistol that performs as confidently as it looks.

Transfer & eligibility. Firearms transfer only through a licensed FFL dealer. You must be legally eligible to purchase and possess a firearm under all applicable federal, state and local law. A completed ATF Form 4473 and background check are required at your dealer’s counter before the pistol is released to you. We do not ship firearms to residential addresses.
